Thanks to USA Today's pop culture blog POPCandy, I found the Grinch name generator - the title of today's post. And it really couldn't be more fitting. Go to: http://www.yourgeekfriend.com/GrinchName/GrinchName.php if you want to find out what your Grinch name is.
I'm tired. Really tired. I got 2 hours' sleep on Tuesday night, after spending a hour and a half cleaning my garage. Keep in mind I'm lazy and out of shape. Manual labor sucks ass. Last night I went to bed at 10ish, early for me. But that was after moving my recliner to the garage (Note to self: Lazy Boys are HEAVY), bringing the tree in, and taking out the trash cans, my all-time single favorite household chore. Have I mentioned that I'm lazy and out of shape? By the way, does anyone have any advice on how to straighten a tree by oneself? The six year old (1) could not hold the tree up and (2) has the same sense of "straight" is as I do, which means that the tree is leaning badly. Ugh. I love the holidays. But....my house smelled like Christmas tree this morning, not an unpleasant smell to wake up to.
Tonight is Patrick Christmas program. According to him, it's a musical. Should be funny. He told me that being with the Kindergartners, first graders and second graders in the same room was "chaos". I am now in possession of a digital camera and will attempt to post photos here tomorrow of the little man in all his Christmas glory. He will be wearing a shirt, tie, sports coat, dress pants and tennis shoes, mostly because his mother is too lazy (there's that word again) to buy him dress shoes. He's still going to be the best looking kid there.
I have to get to work as I have to leave early due to the Christmas program. I actually need to bill as much as I can today so I can leave early with a clear conscience.
I am Surlybeast Rascalnose.
Which, oddly enough, was actually the name of my college girlfriend.
